Clip-ons & throttle
Clip-ons set your wrist angle and drop; a quick-turn throttle shortens the twist to wide open. Grips and bar ends finish the cockpit.
The short answer
Woodcraft and Vortex split the clip-on market — a serviceable three-piece design versus a few dollars cheaper. Add rise for street comfort, add drop for track tuck. The Domino XM2 quick-turn throttle is the default race upgrade and ships with proper race grips.

Clip-ons & Throttle by model
What each bike's page says about clip-ons & throttle: the brands that fit, the year splits and the gotchas, quoted from the 11 bike pages that have a note on it.
Honda CBR500R
TechSpec's Gripster kit lists the CBR500R and CB500F 2013–2018; Stompgrip lists traction pads for 2013–2015 and 2019–2026. Clip-ons sit above the top clamp through 2018 and below it from 2019 (Honda), so bar-area parts split there.
Honda CBR650R
TechSpec Gripster tank grips list the CB650R and CBR650R 2019+. The CBR650R's clip-ons mount beneath the top yoke while the CB650R has a tapered handlebar (Honda), so bar parts do not cross between the two.
Suzuki GSX-8R
Suzuki fits forged aluminum separate handlebars set low and forward on the 8R; the 8S has a tapered cast-aluminum bar. Helibars lists handlebar risers for the 8R 2024–2025.
Suzuki SV650
Converting a naked gen 3 for race bodywork means clip-ons (Woodcraft, Vortex) and a front-end height decision. The SV650X's stock clip-ons are café-angled, not race-angled.
Yamaha R7
Stock clip-ons sit under the top clamp but offer no adjustability. Woodcraft and Vortex are the replacement defaults, with crash-replaceable bars a real benefit.
Ducati Monster
Bar-end mirrors (Rizoma CNC-style) free up the bar view and clean the silhouette; tank grips earn their cost on track days.
Ducati Streetfighter V4
Tank grips matter more than most owners expect — hard braking with wide bars pushes you forward. Stompgrip/TechSpec, plus quality bar grips.
Honda CB500F
The CB500F has a tapered handlebar from the 2019 restyle (Honda), and Puig lists handguards for 2016–2024. For clip-ons and a fairing, the CBR500R is the same bike with those fitted.
Kawasaki Ninja 300
Woodcraft lists 2013–2017 clip-ons; Spears lists clip-ons with 2.5 in risers and a Domino XM2 race throttle kit; TechSpec lists a tank-grip kit.
Yamaha MT-03
Stompgrip lists tank grips for the MT-03 2020–26.
Yamaha R3
The R6 throttle tube swap for a shorter throw is a well-known fix and costs almost nothing. Tank grips (Stompgrip or TechSpec) are the other universal recommendation.
